Growing up in a family that values education with a teacher and an engineer as parents, I was exposed and able to learn about a wide range of fields to find what I am passionate about and would like to pursue. These multiple opportunities throughout my childhood taught me anything is possible and now am driven to provide similiar opportunity to others. During the years of my graduate school and academic career, I noticed a significant lack of diversity in students' backgrounds. This observation became even more shocking when I tried to enhance diversity in my quantitative team in the financial industry and was not able to find candidates through hundreds of applicants.
I realized there are many factors beyond a talent's control making it difficult for them to reach their potential. Socioeconomic and cultural factors such as family structure and background, where they grew up and what they have experienced frame their exposure and potential options. Connecting these needs and the beliefs of equality and access, we are creating an opportunity for gracious and considerate leaders and experts to cooperate and bring world-class resources to assist underrepresented talents to have the same experience and exposure that is readily available to others. We are dedicated to not only help unrecognized talent learn more about opportunities and future potential career paths but also provide structure to become successful and bring prosperity to their communities.
Our focus is the benefit of Minorities, Immigrants, those impaired by poorer performing school systems, poverty and the pre-sentencing bail system as well as corporations and systems benefiting from the availability of a more diverse and talented workforce.
